The Science

The brain is our command center. It controls mood, behavior and actions. One of the ways it does this is through electrical impulses that have different frequencies.  Sometimes, these electrical frequencies can be out of balance. The goal of Neurofeedback is to teach your brain to properly regulate these frequencies.

Also known as EEG biofeedback or Neurotherapy, Neurofeedback is a groundbreaking therapeutic technique used to improve the brain's cognitive and behavioral functioning.

Neurofeedback exercises your neural pathways, giving your brain the necessary information it needs to re-learn and improve functioning. It is a non-invasive therapy with dramatic results for a multitude of symptoms.

The natural electrical activity in the brain affects the chemistry. The chemistry affects our moods and attitudes. Neurofeedback therapy, developed in 1968 out of UCLA has substantial research proving that it is a safe and effective method.
